New games are planned
VOCAL works for the benefit of all cats in the area of Elounda, North East Crete and is made up entirely of volunteers. Sick and injured cats are cared for in volunteers' homes. VOCAL carries out an ongoing neutering and homing programme and offers help, support and advice to individuals and groups who want to participate in cat welfare in their own area.
In addition to documenting the beautiful diversity of the flowers found here, it is our intention, through these pages, to record folklore, medicinal and nutritional information regarding herbs and other species as it has existed in Crete for generations. We'd be happy to hear from anyone who can contribute to this archive of social history.

Join us every Tuesday from next Tuesday 12th January for coffee at The Pefko, Plaka. Home made cakes, good conversation, new friends. All money raised (apart from liquid refreshments) goes to feed the cats of Plaka. A small quantity of jewellery and English books will also be available. Come and join us - everybody welcome. 11 am until about 2. Mo.
