The owners, Georgie and Angelo, originally from Bristol, wanted a name that was completely different - but not Greek and not English. Miakoda - meaning “Power of the Moon” in an ancient Native American language - seems particularly apt considering the position of the new bar and restaurant. It is on the road out of Elounda on the way to Plaka, and the view customers will have, across the bay towards the Spinalonga peninsula, is stunning, especially when there is a full moon.
A selection of alcoholic drinks of all kinds. A good selection of beers draughts and from the bottle. A selection of cocktails, teas and coffees and great snacks, the list goes on.
Full program of entertainment including Live music Monday, Wednesday and Saturday also a D.J. on Thursday's.

A nice selection of Mexican nibbles and main dishes makes this a firm favourite with Greek and ex-pat locals as well as visitors. How spicy hot you want your food is up to you. Tortilla Chips And Guacamole, Mexican Prawn Salad, Beef/Chicken Fajitas plus lot's more from the Miakoda menu.
