Well its not everyone's cup of tea, 3 Djs and pounding music on the beach, However it is a first I think for Elounda. I have to say well done to the organisers for trying something different. The music was a good mix of well I am to old to know, something to do with a house and garage, well the kids liked it. When I got to the party it was full of ...Well kids and I mean little kids dancing away. The party started at 9.00pm and went on all through the night so I guess older kids turned up later. I didn't stay so long and left with my ears just intact. There was refreshments for sale at a reasonable price..€2.00 for a beer and there was other refreshments too. The party was supervised I saw people standing around keeping an eye on everything which was good. I think this party would be a hit with young adults and I am sure that was what the party was being aimed at which I think is not a bad thing at all. I have to say over all I think it was a good idea, to give something to the young people, locals and tourists and why not a beach party.  I do not think that Elounda will ever turn into a Malia and I am sure no one wants this..well maybe some of the bars. Its a good change I would say, as I said for the younger adults that visit Elounda. Nothing wrong with a party, not something for every night ...Maybe just every Saturday or every second Saturday. I will give the next party more of my time and write a full article(with ear-plugs) but as I see now I give the Beach Party full marks for giving something to the young people. I hope this party is a success and just maybe it will become a more regular occurrence.
